Observing your Atlanta DJ in Action
Many events you will celebrate such as a wedding, 50th marriage anniversary or a corporate birthday are often once-in-a-life-time events leaving no room for errors or lapses. It is therefore highly recommended that you observe your Atlanta DJ anchoring an event prior to signing the dotted line:
Hiring a DJ after observing the DJ performing live
While this is not possible all the time, You really have no excuse for hiring a DJ without witnessing your DJ professional in action now that you have shortlisted an Atlanta DJ for your upcoming gala. Participate in an event being conducted by your shortlisted DJ as an observer and witness how the DJ conducts it. Listen to his or her selection of songs and assess the quality of his anchoring. Did the DJ play the music which matched the theme of the event? How well did he or she make the announcements? Was he able to manage the schedule? Book him or her only if it matches your vision of your upcoming event.
Negotiating your presence during an event to which you are not invited, at least not officially, might be a delicate value proposition. We recommend that you ask your shortlisted Atlanta DJ to seek permission on your behalf. Offer to pay for the food and beverages you will consume during the event so that the host of the party you are planning to attend is not out-of-pocket. While at the event, try to mix with other guests without sharing the purpose of your attendance and do not stand in a corner like a sore thumb.
Have you ever attended a DJ event as an observer? How was your experience. How did the host react to your presence? Do let us know.
